The lack of internet at home is really getting to me. It's causing my boredom and isolation to feel totally overwhelming. I feel so frustrated because I can't keep up with any of my friends, any current events, or any of my communities, and it's all because I can't afford a damn laptop charger. I can't communicate, I can't do frilious things like upload photos, participate in chats, update my pupe, download music whenever I want, watch dramas, look up information, and worse of all:

I have no idea what's going on with my friends half the time and I feel annoying if I text message people too much. ;__; I'm just lonely.

My Christmas was a real bust too, since I didn't get any gifts from anyone, I just bought my own stuff during the after Christmas sales. Mostly Gal clothes and really cheaply priced shoes. (Yay Charlotte Russe and Rainbow! I'm really neurotic about my GAL clothing, I'll buy a lot, but I won't wear it unless I'm going to a Gal event, because I don' want it to get unduely worn. XD; Weird right? )

Anyway, on a totally unrelated note since my birthday and Christmas were a bust, anyone know of any good New Year's happenings? I would love to go to a Gyaru NWE's party, but I'm only 20 not 21 yet. ^^;

I know I've been posting alot lately, so sorry to jam up your friends pages with my nonsense. xD Here's something with content though!

I'd like to start doing video game walkthroughs soon by using screen-capture software on my laptop. My only problem is if I want to do console games, how would I connect my laptop to the television so that the picture on the TV screen shows up on my laptop? I've read up on how to connect my laptop and tv, but the article only discussed getting the television screen to serve as the monitor.

My laptop has a VGA port and my telly has a two-pronged RCA port (although the tv in the living room has the normal three-pronged RCA).

I really appreciate anyone who can help me. ;A; I'd love you forever and ever and ever.

Also if you can recommend a nice microphone that comes with recording software that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, that'd be pretty bitchin too.

Oh I am extradinarily pissed off at LJ today. A little way ago, I recieved one of those holiday coupons from mousey_sama which was great, I could finally use it toward getting back the paid account I so direly desired. So, click on the link and go through the process to upgrade my account. I enter my info and then press finish, LJ says I entered invaild information, so I double check to make sure everything's on the up and up and then I enter it again, and it still's acting weird as well.

So I try it two more times, and then finally I go to the bank website to check the balance of the card (I had checked it before and had more then enough to cover the $9.95 cost) I check my account and it shows that I'm OVER MY CREDIT LIMIT BY FIVE DOLLARS. I go WTF and make a rush call to my bank. It turns out that livejournal fucking billed my account FOUR TIMES (the fourth was declined, because there was NO MORE MONEY)and the woman says that lj will have to credit the money back to my account because they can't reverse them theirselves. So I'm frantically freaking out, and I post a help request on their support fourm under billing issues.

So far I haven't gotten a reply on the fourm yet, and I keep checking my bank account to see if someone at lj notices that it's been charged four times, and just credit it back automatically, since they know it's wrong. The credit representative said that if they don't credit it back, I'll have to be mailed a dispute form. ARUGH.

ALL I WANTED WAS A PAID ACCOUNT. THAT'S IT. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME. \(T^T)/ *despair despair*

Also, it has become my burning desire to learn basic German and Polish. :|

Why? Because I watched a how to speak Polish video online and it is cripplingly difficult and I want to be the baddass mofo who can speak such a difficult language.
And because I did the same with German and it just sounds so baddass. :| AND SO PRETTY. ;AAAAA; DU BIST MEIN ENGEL. Plus, it sounds like a really REALLY fun language to scream in when you're angry. 8D good reason

Too bad I can't fit anymore classes in my schedule this semester. ;A; Maybe if there's a weekend class in the Parks and Rec magazine that I can take right after the yoga class I wanna take. XD; Probably won't have Polish, but I'd be mightily surprised if they didn't have German.
Maybe then I could understand some of what Rammstein lyrics are. 8D All I know is that "du hast" means "you have" as well as sounding hilariously similar to "you hate". XDDD (hast=have, hasst=hate, and there is no difference in pronounciation as far as I can hear. xDDDD)

While on the topic of languages, I felt I should officially announce that I have decided to major in something besides Japanese. I do NOT have the patience to actually sit down and study 20 different kanji a week, and I know that the burden gets heavier and heavier as you take more advanced classes. I will still continue to take Japanese, of course, since I have the genuine and whole-hearted desire to learn it, it just will not be my major.
I'm still going through with my plan to move to Japan and teach English though. I just came to the conclusion that majoring in a difficult subject like Japanese is not necissary, considering I can have a bachelor's in literally ANYTHING (I mean it. I could have one in engineering and still get into a program), AND I have connections so that I might not even have to go through a program. (My mom has a man-friend at work who is from Japan and he's already offered to hook me up with work there once I get a bachelor's. I call him Mr. Takei because I don't actually know his name off the top of my head. 8D (He's not gay though. XDDD And he has the CUTEST little daughter EVER and he let his wife talk him into naming her Lamb. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWww~~~~~))
In case you were wondering what my new chosen major will be, and YES I did think this through before making a solid decision, it will be English. YEAH YEAH, "WHAT DO YOU DO WITH A BA IN ENGLISH, WHAT IS MY LIFE GOING TO BEEEEEEE~~~~?" But you know what? I kick freaking ASS in English. I always have, and I don't think that will change five years down the line. So, I'm picking a major that I KNOW I am good in for sure, and that I won't abhore. The only time I have ever disliked an English class is Senior year of high school when I got the teacher who didn't want to be a teacher, didn't like English, and wanted to be a DANCER.

:| Yeah.

So. Small change in plans. 8D Good thing I haven't declared my major officially yet! YEY PROCRASTINATION~!!!! SEE, IT DOES PAY OFF TO BE A LAZY-ASS SOMETIMES!!! I AM LIVING PROOF THAT LAZINESS IS A VIRTUE.

Also, it makes sense. :| What are you majoring in? Japanese? Oh, really, what are you going to do with it? Teach English.
